During the period I attended Maryville. the school was going through a difficult transition and experimenting with various approaches that were later determined to be less than effective. Since then, the school has improved considerably - as an agnostic, I'm disturbed that the school has decided to re-established ties with the presbyterian church.
Chancellors at the College of William and Mary have included some very famous retired statesmen, including Margaret Thatcher (UK Prime Minister), Henry Kissinger (US Secretary of State), Warren E. Burger (US Chief Justice), and, currently, Sandra Day O'Connor (US Associate Justice).
