mars hill is a beautiful college campus, but personally i didn not really enjoy the time i hae spent there. this could be because i lived off campus and commuted so i did not know that many people and i transferred in as a jr. if you want to go to school here, you need to come in as a freshman and leave a graduate. it is hard to make friends if you dont. There is not much of aparty scene here simply because it is a small town. Very small. And the emphasis is put on the scenery so there is no room for bars and lots of shops, however asheville is not far away nor is johnson city TN. I am unhappy with the billing department there, and the help of the staff. teachers are very good but the administration is not helpful here.
