I think Loras has many good things to offer students. The student to teacher ratio is very low, which I think is invaluable. I got to know so many of my professors and got more involved in my small classes. If you are looking for a small college with great faculty I would definitely recommend Loras. Some of the cons are that you have to live on campus until you are 21 and parking can be a pain. Some of the buildings are pretty old, so don't expect state of the art facilities on the entire campus. The library and student center are really new, so those are nice. They also just unveiled a huge wellness center. I think overall the college has a really close knit community and professors really care about students succeeding. Loras is a laptop campus, so as part of your tuition fees you get a laptop and get a new one every 2 years. This is really nice, because the "help desk" at school is always there to help. It also helped me decide what kind of computer I wanted to get after school. Having wireless throughout the campus is also really nice, in and out of class.
