One of the very first things you'll notice when you arrive at this school is that the campus is beautiful. There are people outside every single day making sure the grounds look fantastic. The buildings also all look brand new on the inside. This school is possibly one of the cleanest schools I've come across. This will leave a great first impression. Because the school is so tiny, a community aspect will grow almost you. Sooner or later, new students will begin to meet people and will eventually form a tight niche group, even if you're not the most outgoing of persons. Also because the school is small, the classes are very personal and all of my professors were very open to discuss anything with me. I knew each and every one of my professors. One gripe I have with the school is that they offer no transportation to outside stores, which is a real shame because the stores are really close by. If you don't have a car on campus, you're supposed to find someone who does in order to leave campus. There isn't much in the small town near the school so you'll have to travel down the road to go grocery shopping. All in all, if you are looking for a small school, I'd recommend checking Lebanon Valley College out. The administration is very helpful and almost always responds quickly and on time to any questions or concerns you may have.

LVC is a small college, and like any other small college it has advantages and drawbacks. The advantages are a close-knit community of students, truly excellent student / professor interaction (my professors OFTEN sent emails to me or would call me in my dorm or at home), and many opportunities to stand out to peers on campus and those in the community. The drawbacks are a lack of anonymity on campus (maybe an advantage, depending on how others perceive you), lack of diversity, lack of off-campus social life (Walmart was as exciting as it got), crotchety community neighbors, and absolutely intolerant police (I have been stopped three times while walking around the town and asked to produce my ID for absolutely no reason).
LVC is very strong in some departments, and so weak in others that I would consider it a waste to go there for some majors. Its education program, especially music education, is very strong and highly regarded by surrounding districts and states. Make sure you do your research in your departments before making a decision on attending LVC.
It is also a liberal arts college, which means that you must take many classes that will have little to nothing to do with your declared major. I enjoyed this - I learned quite a bit about a variety of topics and enjoyed the break from my major once in a while. Many students hate their liberal arts classes and are quite vocal about it.
