I recommend this college to everyone i loved my time there. It has a great library, And all the professors there are amazing i never had any problems getting along with them. Its also right in the middle of downtown so there's plenty to do on your day off from studies. Keene state college also has many on campus Jobs so you can earn a little money. I would choose this college over and over everyone there has a good attitude and there's plenty to do and the classes they offer are exceptional.
Keene State College is a small college in a rural area in Keene, NH. It is a beautiful area surrounded my mountains and lakes. The town is progressive. The college's image has changed radically from the 80's when I was a student. At that time it was considered a party school. The reputation has improved greatly. However, the small town atmosphere with concerned citizens, involved students and teachers plus a beautiful setting has remained the same. My parents, sister and I all attended this school. There is a strong Greek life on and off campus; joining a soroity was one of the best things I did while at school. Twenty plus years later I still have remained friends with some of my sisters, and my father is also my brother!! Soccer is the most popular sport on campus. I have many fond memories of attending Soccer, Hockey and Ultimate Frisbee games. It is very cold in the winter, I remember walking thru campus with my eyes watering and freezing. Summer can be very hot and dry. Spring and Fall are by far the most beautiful seasons. Keene has widest Main St. in the US and is known for hosting the Annual Pumpkin festival.Thousands of pumpkins are carved and lit during the festival. They have broken records for the most amount of pumpkins lit.
