Entrance to the college is among the most competitive in the country, with over 11,000 applicants for 1,000 places in the
freshman class. Undergraduate students matriculate from all 50 states and over 40 countries. Within six years of graduation, 85%
of Hopkins students earn graduate degrees, the highest percentage in the nation.
