This is an amazing college. Every teacher is a professor and are experts in what they teach. Each class is only 25-30 students so no 200 student classes. The campus is beatutiful with much student housing, food eateries and much much more then you would expect from a normal school.
I would strongly recommend Hofstra University to any potential student; The campus is beautiful, the professors incredible, and the education is top-notch. The only cons are that the financial aid process can be complicated, and you need to take iniative in making sure that you are on top of your course selections, financial aid accounts, and academic progress.
The important thing to remember is that although this college is on Long Island (a fact that makes it seem ordinary to natives), it has risen in prominence over the past few years- especially its now outstanding athletic programs.
