Goshen College is a Mennonite liberal arts college in Goshen,
Indiana with an enrollment of around 1,000 students. It was founded in 1894 in Elkhart, Indiana as the Elkhart Institute. The campus was moved to Goshen in 1904 and the name was changed
to Goshen College.Goshen's Study Service Term (SST), probably its best-known program, takes students overseas for three months split between
study of a foreigns language and culture, and performing volunteer services. The program was pioneering when it was founded in
1968 before study abroad programs became widespread.Goshen tends to fairly maintain a steady 60/40 ratio of women to men.
