The number one adjustment issue for students who grew up in cities (large or small) is the relative isolation of Eureka's Campus. That said, the activities on campus particularly those with the Theater Department are a really fantastic way to meet people and try new things.
Eureka College is a Liberal Arts college, and the size of the school facilitates collaboration between disciplines. It is an extremely strong school for someone looking for a well rounded education. Of the schools that share its Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) affiliation it has one of the best scholarship/tuition packages for those considering a career in the ministry.
