This is a good school, geared towards those with a Christian (Nazarene, Protestant) background or faith base. It is a private college, and runs around Twenty thousand dollars a year tuition, plus around six thousand in room and board. It is much more strict than a state school. There are specific days which members of the opposite sex are allowed in each other's dorms, and there are penalties for missing chapel, being caught smoking or drinking or being caught in sexual acts. The pros are: this is a small school, small class sizes, close community of people with like ideas on religion, etc. The cons are: this is not the "typical" college experience, there are no huge parties, and very little room for "liberal living". If you are interested in this college make sure that you visit the campus, or talk on the phone with someone from there before you enroll, because if this college is not for you it will be a miserable time (not a typical college), and is very expensive. Although, if you are a Christian and want to be around a community of other Christians, this is the place for you! |
