Daemen College is located on Main Street in suburban Amherst, New York, northeast of Buffalo, New York. Daeman was started as Rosary Hill College by the Sisters of St. Francis of Pennance and Christian Charity. Currently, Daemen is a four-year liberal arts college.

Of particular interest to many prospective students are the programs in Physician's Assistant and Physical Therapy. The college has more than thirty undergraduate programs and six graduate programs.

The sports teams are the Wildcats.
