CSU is a good school. For certain aspects. You can advance rapidly, receive quality teaching, live in a cool college town, experience a 'college-living'. But it is important what field you go into. If you are strong in the sciences, yes this school is for you. As far as all the people that I know were 'business' majors, they aren't doing anything related to their degree. I would recommend this school. If were to do it again, I probably would pick a private school. You can succeed and learn a lot at this school, but I feel that if things were pushed upon me with greater intensity combined with my own motivation, i would've learned more. Pros include town, Fort Collins is a cool place to live, their science programs are solid, there are a lot of organizations to be involved in. Cons are its massive size: large classes, low individual attention, students who don't really care that they are receiving a college education. Despite it being a state school, they have a good science program with faculty generally interested in their students.

It is a great overall school with many different majors. The campus is beutifull, with an incredible view of the nearby mountains. The sports program can really keep a student busy. The library was recently destroyed by a flood, but was redone and is a pleasure to be in.

If you go to this school, get involved in extra curricular activities, get to know your professors and advisors, and make sure there is adequate time for academics. I would go to this school if I had to do it over. The downside is there is a large amount of lecture classes, so if that isn't conducive to your learning style, this may not be a good fit.

If you are considering CSU, be aware that it is very expensive to live on and around campus. I know you have all heard that it is a big "party", and for the most part this is the truth. However, the academic programs are outstanding. I think that most people are impressed when they hear that's where I got my degree. I would definitely choose this college if I had to do it over again. There is nothing better than living in Colorado.

CSU is a great school in a great town. I would definetly choose it again. The pros are the city of Ft. Collins and the great night life. The cons include the overall perception of the degree from the university. You may not know that it is actually a pretty big school.

School is school! You learn some, you slack some and in the end you end up with four years of personal growth and are still as stupid as ever...so it seems! But no worries, you're really learned mroe than you realize! Go for everything you want and never give up!!!
