This is overall a very good school. However, with the way tuition is rising, I would recommend considering a larger school, such as University of Missouri.
Some pros of going to CMSU are: Slightly lower cost, Lower cost of living in Warrensburg, MO, Smaller student population (around 12000 total) smaller class sizes (average of around 25) and smaller campus. (You can easily walk anywhere on campus in 10 minutes or less.)
Cons would be: Not much to do in the town, fewer class offerings than bigger schools, increase in cost of tuition is making it less worth it to attend here, and college is not well known.
If I had to do it all over again, I would go to another school that is bigger, and more recognized for the field I am in, however, I'm sure some fields don't need people from better recognized schools. I would probably also be willing to pay a little more to go to a school like University of Missouri in order to get the class offerings I would like, and be in a town with more to do on the nights and weekends.

I like this school because compared to others in the state, it is relatively cheap, and is a little smaller than most. The campus is not huge and overwhelming. The student body is small enough that you will have the same classes with other people over and over and get to know them better. The class sizes are pretty small, about 30-40 in each class. The campus is very safe too. There are plenty of extra-curricular activities for students. The only draw back is that the costs keep rising every year, but that's to be expect from any school.

Yes, I would recommend this school. It is located in a small town. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. There are a number of fraternities, sorototies on campus. The housing is above average. It's about an hour away from Kansas City. The football and basketball teams are improving. There is a good ratio of different races and ethnic groups.

I would go to this school again. The cons can be that the campus could use some upgrades. The library could use some upgrades. The school could include more online courses and degrees.

This college is located in a small town where people really cater to college students. It allows students to become a part of the community. It is located within traveling distance of Kansas City, where there is plenty to discover and do. Some of the cons of CMSU include that most students leave on holidays and weekends. This college has an excellent teacher preparation program, as well as pilots program.

Central Missouri is a very nice school, but before going here consider your options. If this is your first college and you're looking to let loose you'll find the area very unforgiving of that.

Far as entertainment in the city there is a walmart and various other mom and pop shops. There are about 5 bars and they're all located on one street.

Also be careful of on campus living, while its very cheap to live here, some of the dorms are infested with roaches and have bats that live in the ceilings. The cops here are also a hard bunch who will do damn near anything to bust you.

The campus is really nice and its just the right size no too big and not too small. Being from St. Louis and used to a big city I think I would've chose Mizzou if I had to do it all over again.
