This is a great college for foreign language study. Class size is small, and the quality of instruction is high. The selection of foreign study programs is excellent.
The amount of financial aid given to students is very generous.
Students at Beloit also have the opportunity to work on important research at the undergraduate level.
Beloit is a small liberal arts school in Southern WI. The setting is nice because there are no "big city" distractions. The school ranks very highly academically and has a good image in the right fields (science, anthropology, social science, politics). The party scene is a little lacking, but there is enough of a social environment to have a good time.
Network is very strong. Professors are involved in your overall success, not just getting a good grade in their class.
