Bellarmine University is a Roman Catholic liberal arts school located in Louisville, Kentucky. It began as Bellarmine College on October 31, 1950, sponsored by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of
Louisville. In 2000 the name was changed to Bellarmine University.Bellarmine offers a range of undergraduate programs as well as
graduate degrees in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Education, and Business.The university's sports teams, the Knights, compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, NCAA Division II.
