The advice i have for students considering this university is that the technology that is being used on campus rivals most campuses around the country. We are the most unwired campus according to US News and World Report. If i had to do it over again, i would chose to attend again.
Ball State has a very few strong majors - in particular, architecture, actuarial science, telecommunications, and a good teacher's college. Those not looking to enter these may find at best Ball State is Just Another College. At its worst, the general studies classes are little more than a glorified high school experience, with mandatory attendance and hand holding professors and assistants.
