I attended Baker in 1985-1987 and then transferred to a large state university and I have regretted the transfer ever since. Baker has an excellent academic reputation and has a beautiful campus. I have kept in touch with many of my old classmates and they are all doing very well with the education they received.
One thing to consider is it's size and location. It's in a small Methodist town in a very conservative state. But, University of Kansas is only 20 miles away and Kansas City is but an hours drive if you must have some city life. Greek life is a large part of the college. I would guess 70% of the student popluation was Greek when I attended Baker. So, if you want to socialize, plan on joining a fraternity or sorority.
