The University campus is composed of more than 540 acres (2.2 km²), including more than
4,000 feet (1.2 km) of ocean frontage. The 26 buildings of the University campus include the Harold Alfond Center for Health Sciences, a state-of-the-art 80,000 square foot (7,000 m²) science education
facility, and the Marine Science Education and Research Center, which houses the Marine Animal Rehabilitation Clinic.
