My professors were great. They were almost always there when I needed help with my classes. I even had a chemistry professor help me with studying for a test in my German class! I will also always cherish the friends that I made while at Hood. However, the administration at Hood could do a better job of including students when making major decisions about the college. The other problem with Hood was the dining hall- the food was awful most days and if you lived on campus you were forced to buy a meal plan. My money would have been much better off spent at the grocery store! Overall on a scale of one being the worst and ten being the best, I would have to place my experiences at Hood College at an average of about seven. Not bad but not the best it could have been.
In 1970, the percentage of college freshmen who considered themselves "liberal" was twice that of "conservative". Today, the percentages are nearly equal.
