CSU Chico is a great place to attend college. It is centered in the city of Chico with the campus on the dividing line between downtown and residential making it a convenient bike ride from just about anywhere in town. The campus population is primarily young students with occasional adults in class. The technology on campus is second to none. Many software and hardware firms have donated substantial servers and resources to the campus to further progress its ability to train students into superb engineers and developers. The liberal arts portion of education there is also quite popular. The campus does have a party atmosphere, but that has been on the decline in recent years due to a few hazing scandals. The university is starting to take a firm stand against such parties. In all, it is a great place to attend college. There is a wonderful environment there that cannot be summed up with words - you must experience it for yourself.
It is a great place to go to school. It is beautiful, and very outdoorsy. It is a party school, but it teaches you how to balance life and work. It is a good school for its business school and teaching schools. The classes are small and personal, and most people get all their studying done before night, so that they can go out.
In 1970, the percentage of college freshmen who considered themselves "liberal" was twice that of "conservative". Today, the percentages are nearly equal.
