Get ready for the best experience of your life. BC is an incredible school, with knowledgable professors, lots of community service, and a committment to excellence. This school has so much heart, and very few people transfer out every year.
Boston College is an excellent place to go to school, because it combines the elements of a fantastic education and great time.
There's a great sense of community and there's no shortage of parties. The off campus housing can be an inconvenience- you have to move off for junior year- but the area is lots of fun and there's a trolley into Boston right on the campus border. If you like sports, the football and basketball teams generate a lot of excitement and the games are tons of fun!
The classes are challenging and you often see students in the library for days straight around finals. But the professors are dynamic- from many walks of life- and have professional experience to draw upon. At times there is an overly conservative feeling to the campus, both the students and faculty. So if you are extremely liberal, be ready to feel outnumbered.
Overall, the education is excellent and very well-rounded. The Core classes taken during the first two years provide a solid base of general knowledge. The focused classes are intensive but stimulating. An excellent choice.
I stronglt recommend this college, especially if you like an enviroment like bostons. If i ever had the chance, i d prefer to go to stanford. It is small and has a warm atmosphere also very strong acedemical staff however it is resting in the shadows of other strong education centers such as harvard.
