Excellent college for the money. Of course there are a few bad apple instructors here and there but overall the education recieved for the money especially is worth it. Set in beautiful South Portland Fort Preble I loved going here. I lived on campus for 16 months straight and loved it. One of the disadvantages to living here is that the cold wind off of the sea is hard in the wintertime but very nice in the summer if you are taking classes. College very useful as a stepping stone, fully accretited so you can transfer credits very easily. There are a few downfalls with it however. The student services leaves quite a bit to be desired. Although enrollment services does there best, there always seems to be aline and no one seems to know what the solution is to your problem. Not much for Greek other then the high honor program on campus. Otherwise if you want to get in and get out with some cheap good credits, this is the place.
Harvard University, the first college in America, was originally called "New College" and sometimes just referred to as "Cambridge," the city in MA where it's located.
