My alma mater gave me an extremely valuable education and, I believe, adequately prepared me for the increased workload/academic expectations of my current school, UCLA. SMC has an excellent transfer program and should get you to the university of your choice without much hassle. However, like any other college/university, you must beware of lousy teachers that lurk about so be sure to read posts on ratemyprofessors to get a heads-up. Most of the classes I took were easy to moderately difficult, engaging, and downright fun. I highly recommend this school to anyone wishing to get an AA degree or considering transferring to a 4 year school as you will receive high quality instruction and preparation for your academic future/career path.
Great school for the price! 26bucks a unit! has great online classes too. You get a free buss pass for the whole city of Santa Monica by attending. You can use it anytime! Gorgeous women from all over and has a couple satellite campuses that are specialized in different things. Like the one I go to is Entertainment Technology! Thats like video games, animation, websites, all that good stuff. Pretty campus too!
Very good institution, good teachers, good assistance, nice environment and weather. The people diversity makes it interesting and very rich in learning!
