I would advice to students that they have to really keep in touch with their counselors, most of the time the couscelors forget to make appointments at the beggining of every semester. I would recommend this college because is cheap, teachers are really helpful and they really care for the students. I would defenetely choose this college, I spent most of my daytime there and i loved it!!. NVCC has a lot of pros: it was nonexpensive, is not long to walk from class to class. the cons: limited parking, if you get there late you have to make a long walk, cafeteria closes at 6:00pm. People should know that it has a great department where it helps you find a job, during school hours.!!! they found me a job at IBM it was great!!!
Having gone this school after attending another far more expensive college I have to say that I was pleased with the experience. I can say honestly that the level of education here was equal if not better while paying just over $1,000 per semester as when I was paying over $15,000 a semester at another college. I had wrongly assumed that a more expensive and specialized school would give me superior training than the community college right down the road. The campus and facilities were adequate although nothing to brag about as you would expect from a college this size. The professors were all competent in their fields and I've never had an easier time dealing with the administration of a facility. Overall I would highly recommend this college.
Chancellors at the College of William and Mary have included some very famous retired statesmen, including Margaret Thatcher (UK Prime Minister), Henry Kissinger (US Secretary of State), Warren E. Burger (US Chief Justice), and, currently, Sandra Day O'Connor (US Associate Justice).
