Lansing Community College is a great place to start off your college education. The majority of classes transfer to other 4 year colleges in the area and cost considerably less per credit hour. The majority of the professors are very nice and take the time to work with students. The foundation office is a great place to find funding for your college education and I have always had good experiences with everyone in that office while they were looking for scholarships and grants for me. In addition the campus is expanding and offers state of the art education facilities all for pennies on the dollar compared to other private institutions in the area. In addition the course offering is comparable to every 4 year institution in the area. The campus is in downtown Lansing and offers easy access to the bus line and has a considerable amount of housing nearby.
