This review is on the CALIFORNIA Glendale Community College. This campus is a rapidly expanding and very popular college on the northern side of Glendale. It is nestled in the foothills and offers a unique and beautiful environment to go to college. The views from campus are amazing! The surrounding area and the college are both very diverse, with Armenians, Latinos, and Asians heavily represented.
The college is constantly adding new buildings, parking structures, programs, certificates and degrees. Enrollment is up and students come from all around Los Angeles and the surrounding areas to attend. They offer everything from traditional courses and degrees to specialties like welding, aviation, and firefighting technology. They offer several medical programs like RN, Pharmacy Tech, etc.
Overall I would recommend this college. Going to a community college is great because you can get your first 2 years of college practically free compared to a 4 year college, and can easily transfer later with no problem. When you consider $2,000 a year including tuition parking and fees compared to $20,000 + at a 4 year college, community college just makes alot more sense.
