This is a very good college despite being a community college. People cringe whenever they hear of "City," but its actually a very highly ranked community college in the country. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and I had a wonderful time. The courses are not really hard, but challenging enough. Its infamous for its Chem 101A class, its at the same level as UC Berkeley! It has a really good science department (I am a biochemistry major, the science building was literally my home). There are various resources and the tutition is pretty cheap. So consider this place if you want to tranfer to a godo UC or something.
Enrollment in forensics programs has soared since the TV show "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" first began airing, with many colleges experiencing a 100-400% growth in applicants
