I would never choose to own a taxi company again in this lifetime. The headaches are more than the relaxing moments. You deal with angry people who are constantly in a rush, contracts with companies that are always late paying, drivers with the education of a toadstool, insurance companies that bleed you until you can't see straight, people constantly wanting to sue you, older people that don't understand the cost of inflation, and just overall aggravation. People should know that taxi drivers and owners are just here to make an honest living like everyone else. We understand you need to get from point a to point b, and quickly. Unfortunately, we do not control traffic or weather conditions and we have regular cars like everyone else. We do not own supersonic cars.
In the 18th and 19th century, hatmakers used poisionous chemicals including mercury in their work. As result, many developed pathological symptons -- an estimated 10% went insane. Hence the term "mad as a hatter" and Lewis Carroll's character, the Mad Hatter.
