I recently pursued a career in the field of domestic lawn-care. To begin, I wouldn't recommend this job to someone not interested in getting dirty, but for those of you willing to do some old-fashioned, hard work for a good buck, this is definitely a good career. All you need to follow this career choice is some basic lawn machinery knowledge and some common sense to do your job efficiently. The usual day consists of mowing, raking leaves, cleaning swimming pools, sweeping, cleaning gutters, and more common backyard tasks. What's the catch, you may be asking. Well, if working for 6 hours and making nearly $150 is a catch then cnsider yourself enlightened. A few tips for this career include; be in generally good shape; bring plenty of water; keep a good attitude; keep in mind the fabulous award awaiting you at the end of your job; and stay safe. Other than that, this job is most definitely worth pursuing. So in conclusion, the cons are that it involves getting dirty, working hard, and possibly getting sweaty. But the pros are that you get a good workout, you help out someone, possibly and elderly person, and you get paid to do it, very well. |
