Well, I teach english to graduate students. The Enlish language itself is of fascinating to me that I find it very satifying when I impart teaching to others. My advice to those aspiring to make teaching their career is that they should be very serious about teaching as a job, because this job is of immense responsiblity, you not only distribute knowledge to youngers who are going to start their life but are also responsible for their success or failure in their career. Hence, one should be fully committed and dedicated to this profession. I would definitely recommend this career to all those who are really serious about this profession and possess correct aptitude. So far as doing this job again is concerned, if given opportunity I would certainly choose this profession as it is really fullfils one mission of life, you not only have the opportunity to learn more and more but also to impart that knowledge to others, to help them move ahead in life. The main advantages of a teaching profession are that in our country you have to work only for half day shifts and then you have plenty of times to devote yourself to other important things and interests and also to take care of your dear ones. Besides, in our country it is very respectable job and at present quite profitable too. The important thing that people should know that there are abandunt opportunities available in the fields of teaching in various fields and all over the world and they are quite high paying also.
I really like being a teaching assistant. It gives me the opportunity to work closely with professors who are experts in the field and learn from their expertise. I get to work closely with students which makes the teaching experience rewarding. You also get to share what you love with other people.
Teaching does take time. Grading especially takes a lot of time to do a good job, but as you work you can learn from colleagues who can help give you different methods for making the job easier for you.
Of course, the best thing about teaching is that you get to learn your subject in even greater detail.
