Working in the Construction field is a positive well promoted career for someone that is intrigued with variety, change of location and working hands on. I chose this field so I would not be in a redundant job. Everyday I am working on a new project, and often in a new location. Being in the construction field you have many opportunities to work well beyond the entry level carpenter. With some experience and drive you can soon be helping with the bidding process, becoming a superintendant on the jobs or even becoming your own general contractor. Anyone that likes a challenge, a career working with there hands and visibly getting to see there completed work this is a career to be endevoured.
I'm currently working as a carpenter for a contracting buisness. I like how being a carpenter isn't that stressful, not to much to worry about. it's got moderate pay. I'd recomend carpentry to people who didn't go to college or are into woodworking and for people who like to work with their hands and eyes better then their mind.
