The Skills Profiler is not an aptitude test. It isn't designed to measure your capacity for learning like popular standardized tests (e.g. the SAT or ACT) that use a timed quiz format. Rather, it is a self-assessment instrument created to assist people in developing a profile of their own skills. Most people have a fairly good understanding of their own strengths and weaknesses when it comes to skills and abilities. What they lack is a structured means for objectively profiling their skills and for comparing their skill set to various careers. People pretty much know what they're good at – they just may not know how good, or what that means in terms of choosing a career.
The Skills Profiler takes you through 35 work-related skill areas and assists you in developing a profile of your strengths and weaknesses. It then translates your profile into career path recommendations.
Using our CareerMatch™ scoring system, you can see how your skills compare to 739 different careers.
